This is one very simple install

I haven't yet had the opportunity to report on their usefulness

I will report back as soon as I put some miles on them

Once again this product is first class and is a quality machined part(s)

You will only need a 5mm allen wrench and a 10mm combination wrench

You start by removing the screw holding the tip over wing cover in place

Then you must squeeze the cover to get it to unsnap

MCL blades are asymmetric so you'll have to decide which one is for the right side and the left

You can thank MCL for his choice to make the bottom portion of the main body bracket threaded

This allows the thru bolt to be threaded into the bracket and then he supplies a nylock nut to be used as a jam nut - pretty nice!

After placing each half of the bracket over the tip over bar you can then start the bolts

I tried to tighten them evenly and torque each one the same amount without over tightening

Remember, this is aluminum and will strip with if you use poor judgment

You can see the jamb nut and supplied washers here, on the underside that need to be tightened

You'll need to keep some pressure on the allen headed bolt to prevent it from

backing off/unloosening while you tighten the jamb nut

Re-install the supplied covers that have had the slot milled out

Go to the other side of the bike, lather, rinse, repeat

And Poof!  You have a finished product

This makes for a very neat and clean install

This whole install can be done in 10 or 12 minutes

If you have any reservations about being able to install these yourself you may want to

consider a career in politics
